About

Hi, I'm Shane. I'm currently living in Madison, WI, training large medical event models at Epic.

I am unusually dedicated to building things that enhance the wellbeing of humanity. Today, my means of achieving this is leading a team of researchers to build Curiosity - a medical event foundation model that simulates patient health trajectories.

I'm originally from San Diego, CA. I am deeply interested in film, modular synthesis, lifting/running, and literature.
